Today I faced my great nemesis. We have fought on many, MANY occasions, and he is usually the victor. You are probably asking questions such as: “What is this secret super hero life you lead, Rachael?” “Who do you fight?” “What are your super powers?” Well, I’m just a simple artist with limited talent who fights drawing hands with every ounce of my being. It’s not that I dislike hands. It’s that they are intrinsically intricate (say that ten times fast) and amazing appendages (you can also say that ten times fast). I look at them all of the time, but for some reason I just have a really difficult time drawing them.
I’ve actually become somewhat of a master at NOT drawing them. Here are some examples of my super skills:
Today was okay, especially since I had to hold something.
And speaking of lemons…when life gives you lemons…you should make an Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Miracle Morning Hot Toddy (sans alcohol). I make it whenever I’m feeling sick, having allergies, have to sing and have phlegm setting up camp in my throat, or because it’s supposed to help you lose weight and curb your appetite. There’s also things like
Very simple:
Juice from one fresh squeezed organic lemon.
1 tablespoon of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tablespoon raw organic honey (preferably local)
Hot water. Maybe about 12 oz? I don’t know how much. Just fill your mug up. I have faith in you.
Put all ingredients in your favorite morning mug. Stir with a spoon. You may have to adjust depending on your personal taste. I kinda like the sharpness of the vinegar, but you may need more honey to smooth the taste.
Am I a health and recipe blogger now? I’m going to say yes. Yes I am. Watch out, maybe tomorrow I’ll throw some fashion at you.
