I love this old song, and in the back of my mind I knew it was written by Charlie Chaplin (lyrics by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons), but had only associated it with Nat King Cole, Tony Bennet, and… Glee. Apparently everyone loves this song, including Michael Jackson.
Here is a sweet video of Charlie Chaplin from Modern Times. He really was one of the best clowns there’s ever been!
And then yesterday I drew the Cheers logo… because I was watching Cheers.
By the way, not sure if you noticed in my featured image, but I got a new drawing/drafting table. Although little to none drafting will be accomplished on said table. It is adjustable to be a normal height table or a standing desk, and it can be flat or tilted. The top is glass, which is great for me because I’m forever getting paint on things. It is so much more wonderful compared to my wobbly tilted slightly backwards or much to high drafting table. And it has a drawer. I just really like it, even though it was pretty cheap, and there are some things about it that are not super high quality. It works well for my purposes! Here it is in case you’re dying to also get one. It’s a little messy because I’m situating things!
