I’ve always really liked old cars. Well, on a surface level of “I think they are cool/cute/interesting, but I have a very vague idea of what model/make/year they happen to be.” I can usually give you a good description of them, something like “the blue one over there *points* from like the 60s.” And also I like air-condition. Today’s draw an old car sorta kinda took on the inadvertent theme of the week of drawing multiple things. And drawing old things!
And here’s a Throwback Thursday to that one shot I had of being cool and owning a sports car. My Mustang, named Scarlett. I’ve always been good with the original names.
Here’s some super artsy photography with my tiny digital camera that I was obsessed with in high school, look how cool:
But wait, look at all of the cool passengers I used to cruise around town with:
Oh wait, that can’t be right… I’m sure I have a better picture somewhere. Oh I cat and my best friend Holly on my… oh that’s not my car. That’s HOLLY’S CAR. Yes, we basically had the same car, give or take a few or six years….
Look my BFF Brandi and I did a SUPER COOL photoshoot with our Mustangs and shirts from the colleges we were going to. I guess in order to be my friend you have to have driven a Mustang at some point in your life.
Sometimes my entire family would ride in my car because SO COOL.
And look, we’re wearing costumes too! I can’t even handle the suavity.
But here’s the honest example that shows just how much I rocked this car in high school:
Anyway, now I drive a highlander (named Jessie May) and am much more in my element (haha, what if I drove an Element! That would be funnier).
